Vegetables

I took a walk today around my Hillcrest property and I can't believe how much the garden has jumped up. The plants are just sagging with tomatos and peppers and cucumbers and every other thing they planted. It is so amazing what just a seed will do. I think being a farmer would be so rewarding. You put the seed in the ground and water it and tend to the weeds and water it and tend the weeds and water it and then BAMM! PRODUCE. I wish people were like that too. You plant them on the right path, water them, tend to them, water them, tend to the bad influences, water them and then it should be BAMM! SUCCESS! But, NO, it's not that easy. People are so very tempramental and difficult. They are a many wonderous splendid thing. God, you really are amazing. We are not merely seeds to be planted. We are so complex.

Dear Father,

Thank you for the people in my life, difficult and fun! Thank you for making me flexible. Help me learn how to deal with difficult people. Or better yet, help them to realize there are more than one way to look at things. Bless my husband. Thank you.
